FAQs
Do I need any prior experience with breathwork?
No prior experience is required. Before every session, I will explain the breathing technique in detail, what to expect, and how your body might respond. I will be present and supporting you throughout the entire journey.
2. How should I prepare for a session?
Nutrition: Avoid heavy meals for at least 1.5–2 hours before the session.
Substances: Refrain from alcohol or mind-altering substances for at least 24 hours prior to the session.
Mind & Body: Transformation often begins before the session even starts. You might experience a headache, an upset stomach, or a sudden mood drop right before your first session. Know that you don't have to feel good before the session—you will feel good after.
3. What should I wear?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that doesn't restrict your chest or abdomen (e.g., sweatpants, loose t-shirt, athletic wear). You will be lying down during the session, so bringing warm socks is recommended.
4. What might I experience during the session?
Conscious connected breathwork activates the body and nervous system. You may experience physical sensations (tingling, warmth/cold, vibrations) as well as emotional release (crying, laughter, or deep stillness). All of these are natural and safe ways your body releases stored tension.
⚠️ Important: Medical Contraindications & Safety
Integrative Breathwork is an intensive somatic practice that significantly affects the nervous system, blood circulation, and hormonal balance. Safety is always the highest priority.
Please Note: If you have any of the following conditions, you must inform me prior to booking so we can modify the breathing intensity or opt for a gentler format:
Cardiovascular conditions (severe hypertension, history of stroke, heart attack, etc.)
Epilepsy or history of seizures
Ocular conditions (glaucoma, retinal detachment)
Pregnancy (especially 1st and 3rd trimesters—only gentle, calming breathwork modalities are applied)
Severe psychiatric conditions (acute psychosis, schizophrenia, severe bipolar disorder, etc.)
Heavy psychiatric medications (psychotropic drugs, strong tranquilizers)
By booking or attending a session, the client confirms that they have read this information and take full responsibility for their own health and well-being.
